The Man From Earth
It’s wonderful to have a comment from you. . I was absorbed in it and felt I was present in the room along with the other believers and non believers. It was amazing to realize how interesting a conversation inside a room can become. Making a film based on dialogues primarily, is hard and this one with its great story telling skills has managed to compensate for any special effects or outdoor scenes. The part when John became Jesus just shook me. The reasoning process was also practical and very sensibly fleshed out . It can be developed and given shape only in a genius mind. The ending is satisfying, not ending the film abruptly or vaguely. As a personal view I think he should have recognized his son before. But the life of a person who has lived so long can be like anything.
